I helped many people during this time get back on their feet and get a new job. I've applied for many jobs and have sent out dozens of resumes but I can't even get an interview. Why not?

There is a difference between sending out numerous resumes and effectively searching for a job. Anyone can email dozens of resumes and then wait for the calls to come in but it doesn't work that way.
